“For Asheville” 是由 galen tipton 与 Holly Waxwing 联合打造的一套特别音源项目，作为与 Arts Asheville 合作的公益系列之一，部分版税将用于支持 Hurricane Helene 灾后重建。整套素材围绕阿巴拉契亚地区深厚的音乐文化展开，将当地音乐人的录音素材与真实环境采样进行再创作，把传统蓝草与山地民谣元素重新编织进现代电子语境之中，既保留地域情感，也融入当代声音美学。

在声音设计上，吉他、班卓琴、小提琴、曼陀大提琴、lap steel 等传统乐器被切片、重构为清透灵动的旋律颗粒，田野录音从自然声景延伸到城市环境与 Moogseum 的 Theremin 录音，赋予作品真实空间感。根源鼓律被改造成 breakbeat 结构，十二小节布鲁斯被重组为更流行化的段落编排，整体风格明亮而富有弹性，同时保留温柔、怀旧的核心情绪。全包共 318 个样本，适合制作新民谣电子、实验流行、IDM 或情绪氛围音乐，既有文化厚度，也具现代可塑性。

‘For Asheville’ is part of a fundraiser series in partnership with Arts Asheville to raise funds for Hurricane Helene recovery efforts via a portion of royalties. Multi-time Moment creators and nature lovers galen tipton and Holly Waxwing teamed up to transform session recordings by local musicians and field recordings from the area as their tribute to Appalachia’s rich musical culture.

All the standard fixings of bluegrass and Appalachian folk have been sewn into a modern musical tapestry: guitars, banjos, violins, mandocellos and lap steels are turned into fresh effervescent droplets. Field recordings extend from nature to the city center, from functional foley to Theremin recordings from Asheville’s Moogseum. Rootsy drum shuffles are repurposed into brand new breakbeats, and twelve-bar blues is chopped into four-bar pop. Reminiscent of their recent album keepsakeFM, they have found ways to sample nostalgic material into bouncy and bright new diddies, while maintaining the tender heart.
